Occupational Therapy
Most people do not know what Occupational Therapy is, so in a nutshell, we look at the individual, whatever age, and determine if there are any areas in which they are behind or developmentally delayed. This can include sensory processing delays and concerns for what sometimes gets misclassified as “behaviors”.
Once the need is determined, we collaborate with the parents, to provide education and treat the underlying condition so that we can increase a child’s independence with a variety of activities ranging from emotional regulation and learning disabilities to functional ability to perform daily tasks within the home, and community.
If you feel like your child is struggling with “daily activities”, it may be worth it to get assessed by an Occupational Therapist.”
Our therapy aims to ensure that children can develop and use skills across all environments. Our therapy focuses on developing children's ability to use their skills in different environments, allowing them to become more flexible and proficient learners. Because of the dynamic nature of children and their specific skill development progression, we tailor our therapy to the needs of each child.
